Hey everyone!

I realized that tomorrow presents a really good opportunity to build social skills because there is an automatic, easy conversation starter- everyone's Thanksgiving plans.

So, my goals for this challenge are:
Work out tonight and dress nicely (both of these give me confidence and better body language)
Take an hour tomorrow to walk around my office and chat with each person that's around. (It's a small office, I know everyone by name). This includes management, who I'm normally too shy to talk to.

I will smile, make eye contact, and ask everyone what their Thanksgiving plans are and wish them a happy holiday. If I know of a personal detail about them to add to the conversation (such as a football game I know they're interested in), I'll add that. I'll keep each conversation short and sweet, and I will only share my Thanksgiving plans if the other person asks me.

I'll report back here with how things went. Anyone else want to try?

That is a good plan. I did stuff like that a couple years ago, but my social skills are good enough now that I don't worry about doing things like that anymore.
