Tonight I was on Facebook, and there was a big box that says, "Drag Photos Here"

I was confused a moment, then thought, OK, and posted this.

After all, they did say "Drag Photos Here," right? :P

What about you? Your funniest reaction to a complex phrase?

What's so funny? You did exactly what they asked, right? BTW is that you?

no, that is Andy Warhol, from a famous self-portrait Polaroids he did of himself in drag.
I'm a wordsmith, so I don't get too literal/serious about things like that. But it's those half-a-second moments that I catch myself taking it too literally that make me crack up....

Was talking to my dad about when I was little. It was the height of the gas crisis in the 1970s, and there were lots of talks about carpools. "Do you carpool," my mom asked me, when i was playing with my Hot Wheels. I looked at her and thought, "huh?" then I went outside, took the water hose, made a pool of water, then put my cars in it. "Look mom, I've got a carpool!"

And I was convinced that when you cut open an eggplant...eggs would come out.

I used to think that a thinktank was like a great big fishtank and you all got in the water and thought about whatever the problem was. Like a jacuzzi.

I still think that sounds like a better way to think than a real thinktank!

i always thought a drunk tank was a place where they put you underwater to sober you up...which kept me on the straight and narrow, because i would not want to get into the drunk tank!

When Spongebob was popular back in the day, Target promoted him and in a few commercials they said that Spongebob Square Pants was coming to Target. I thought they were selling square pants.

Then one time, I went to a curves store thinking they sold curves for women in terms of bra padding to make your breasts look better. It turned out to be a health exercise center.

I had a different association, probably requiring no explanation, when I saw the phrase "a German military think tank".

Once upon a time I might have taken that interpretation seriously, but this was just a few years ago and one of those half-a-second moments JHKyle mentions.
