Hi,
I received an e-mail from someone today who wrote a very blunt title. It said, "The Wrong Choice." This was in response to something that I sent them because I thought it would be something we would both agree on since I thought we share the same views. I was sure wrong.

Yet, what I am pointing at is the title in the e-mail that I received.

I don't know about you but I am finding that the title was quite condescending and cold. Then again it is probably me.

What do you think of the title.

It doesn't seem overtly hostile to me. When I write emails I try to put something in the subject line that indicates the contents to the person receiving it, because some people get a LOT of email and have to sift through it, and when I am going through email I like to be able to see from the subject line what it's about. They did that, it seems. So maybe it was simply an attempt at clear communication.

I agree with the OP. Unless you sent this person something over the top offensive (which maybe you did accidentally, who knows), that seems excessive. It would hurt my feelings if I got something like that.

This person who wrote that is really blunt to begin with and has said other things that get you mad at them. They also have a controlling side that makes want to shake them.

I feel that the majority of the time that they are a decent person but when it comes to things that bother them, they tend to blurt it out at you no matter what the other person is thinking or feeling.
