Before I get on to the main topic of this topic (haha see what I did there haha I have no life), let me say that I have no problem whatsoever with socializing and making friends. I have hundreds of friends, lolz. My problem is that I often tend to stutter or say words that rhyme with the original word that I was trying to use rather than the word I am trying to use to convey my thoughts. I also tend to roll my words a lot. Now, I think extremely quickly thus I tend to spit out sentences very quickly because if I took time to say my sentence slowly enough to be understood I would get extremely bored extremely quickly.

Any suggestions on what to do about this? Some methods of practice and/or speech therapy?
Thanks[:

Word of advice:

Don't start out your post on an aspergers forum saying that you have tons of friends and that you have no problem at all socializing.

I didn't even read past your first sentence.

I agree. Ill help anyways as I have a mild stutter. My advice to you is don't speak fast. You will stutter more.

It's not the making friends part because I'm friendly and I enjoy talking to people. It's the problems with stuttering and chopping and screwing my sentences that I have.

Yes, I 100% agree with alakazaam's reply. I remember that an NT once told me, "Once you realize that you have been stuttering, reduce your speed!"
