He-Man.org forums. Been a member for 13 years in October. Made many a friend on there who I also are friends with on Facebook.
Digital Retribution a Australian horror/cult film board. Pretty much the only girl who posts regularly there but the guys think I'm ok friends with a couple of them on Facebook and have done trades/sales of films.
Shitcase Cinema. Like talking about crappy films and like DR there's more males than females but they appreciate a girl who likes this kind of thing.

I belong to some motorcycle forums. I belong to an outdoors forum but spend most of my time in the political section of this forum. I also enjoy video game forums, mainly the world of tanks forum, but I can't go there at work so it doesn't see as much action from me anymore.

I prefer other forums because they're more in-depth and less self-focused. There's more back-and-forth talking that isn't arguing or silliness, and replies are almost always longer than a short sentence confirming that the poster agrees with or isn't interested in the question in the title. They're more interactive and interesting, so I like people a great deal more.
