I want friends in the LA area

Hello. I am 22 and female. I enjoy internet friends, but I really do have periods where I crave physical contact with people. I live in the East side of LA County. I do not have a car, but I can take buses/light rail. I really am just interested in doing minor activities together. I have to plan them out because I get too nervous when doing anything spontaneous. It would be nice if this person is very socially liberal, as I tend to get along with those types of people better. However, I am willing to just look past a lot of personality traits as long as you are not sexist, racist, or homophobic.

I like to try new things. I am not sure what most people do when they hang out at my age. I assume drinking or talking. I am not a big drinker, but I am not against it. I like playing video games, learning, and discussing topics. I do not know if I am on the spectrum or not, but I am fine with a wide variety of people and their difficulties. I just would like it if you do not mind me being very awkward.

A few things about me:

-I tend to talk a lot, but I do not mean to be rude
-I am emotionally sensitive
-I always like to try something at least once before dismissing it
-I am atheist, but I do not mind religious friends as long as they are skeptics
-I like rock music, but that is not the only genre I enjoy. I can find at least a few songs from every genre that are good to me.
-I prefer quiet activities

Thank you for that. I really would like friends I can also be around physically. I appreciate my online friends, too, it can just be hard being in my room all of the time.

I have read some of his posts. It seems like he does not want to be around females :/ Oddly, though, he seems similar to me. I am also frequently depressed.

Oh, and if there are any more of you people on this site from SoCal and the L.A. area in particular, post here! Let's hear you all out!
