Hello let me start by saying that this is very hard to describe for me so please bear with me .... This kind of thing has been happening since elementary school people would tell my to do things i wouldn't understand or embarrassed and would say thing that made me feel funny weird and confused. And on top of that they would tell me that some gut wants to go out with me or likes me and thing like that and try to convince me they were true or pretend to be nice to me. Half of the time i wouldn't even know what was going on much less if it was bullying or not someone i knew from drama tried to explain it and it helped a little tiny bit and know i think their trying to do it to someone else in my class. this girl said to me that she was his girlfriend and i knew very well that wasn't true then when he came in she said it to him and he just ignored her but i tried to stand up for him and it got into this weird conversation she asked me if i liked him and i said were strictly friend and people in the class laughed at me i don't remember the rest of the conversation but some guy said it was the funniest thing he ever herd.

Im so confused.

does this sound familiar to anyone?

what can i do? how do I avoid this?

Yes, this is one of the nasty ways that girls bully each other. I have experienced it, and seen it done to others. Unfortunately the only solution I found was to be wary of people who were suddenly being unusually nice to me and asking me personal questions.

I experienced the "equivalent" version for boys in high-school. Someone handed me an anonymous note saying: "Stop staring at me! I'm not interested in you!" I didn't stare at anyone, and I wasn't interested in anyone myself, either. That was one of the harmless forms of bullying, though.

Bullying sucks. There is no general advice. Learn how to recognize traps and avoid critical situations.

Bullying can ruin your trust in people and thereby cause some serious social problems – I know what I'm talking about. Be sceptical, but don't assume everyone is bad.

You can say:

Look, I can see what you're doing. Quit playing head games, alright. I have enough s*** in my life and I don't need your bulls*** on top of it.

Well i have basically said that before but when i she didn't acknowledge it and just continued provoking me ignoring what i just said when i mentioned it to the kids who knows her just said to calm down forget about it and that they also said that people pick on my friend a lot .I replied with basically saying I've gone though and dealt with this kind of s*** before all my live and i wasn't going to let her pick on someone who is not only more vulnerable then even me. On top of that i believe she is a senior and is picking on two 15 year olds who are young enough to be freshmen ( even though are sophomores). No one ever take me serouisly and this kind of stuff happens on nearly a daily basis as far as i could prosive . ( someone just today told me to say im a th*t which is Spanish for whore  luckily someone told me this before i made a compete fool of myself -- at first i was confused and thought she was saying that) I have also been told to rap dance( duggie, twerk) eta..........

If bullying is only verbal, then you can usually fight it by just not reacting at all.

If they do things like grabbing your cellphone, hiding/sabotaging your belongings, etc., put everything in your schoolbag and get a combination lock. Then they can't do anything without actually breaking the law.

I had some of that during my first senior year in one HS. I was told by these people that this guy or that guy should go out. Then I would say hi to them and it was "You're crazy stay the F away from me."

I also had it where someone appeared to pretend to me nice to me and call me their "Best friend." This was when they made it clear to the world of the opposite. Their actions and words told me otherwise. "Guess what, our friends got together and saw this movie." Yet I was not invited.

Other times I have had a girl tell me to talk to her boyfriend for her since he supposedly said that he wanted to talk to me. So when I called, he was always busy. Then I would call the other girl back and she would sit on the other end and laugh. "Oh hee hee I think it's funny."

I had a boss who I used to work for that had a son with a different level of Autism and he blurts things out at you since he thinks things in his mind. So one time, I running low on food and brought some bad red leafy romaine and nothing else. He was going "I don't like it, I don't like it."
My boss goes, "He does not like your salad" with this big smile on her face.

Then another time my former boss's brother decided to put a sticky note with the words, "Kick me" as an a so-called April Fools Joke.

People that cry wolf. :wall:

All I could do was to wait for High School to finish. It did happen a little bit in tertiary education, but not as much. I guess by then these teenagers sort of grew up and realised it wasn't funny any more to do that with me. It took me a long time to realise that I was falling for their traps all the time.

oh no, I didn't mean you, I was directing it at the people that perform the act on you. I just felt I could relate. It is funny when it happens once, or twice but not so funny if it happens over and over and leaving me feel paranoid.

I had to deal with my peers playing the same mind games with me when I was in Grade 7. I've eventually refused to play their little games.
