I am a Youth Development Counsleor for boys who are mentally or emotionally challenged. My son is the most outgoing of all of us, the rest it just takes us awhile to warm up to people. We live in California, i like snorkleing, gardening, dancing and hiking. My husband and I run the childrens program at our church, we are Christians and we met in Bible College. Thats me, and I'm very glad to meet you.

Hi Christina,
I'm 21, I don't have kids, but this doesn't mean that I think that people with kids are not cool. ;)
What kind of job would you like to have?
What do your tatoos represent?
I have two baby nephews (9 and 6 months). I like playing with them and analyzing their reactions and behaviour. But still, I think it must be very difficult to take care of babies. Mums are courageous, bravo!

:)

I don't think people with kids aren't cool. Parents (whether our own or someone else's) can give valuable advice and many of my friends (older friends, that is) are parents. There are several websites (mostly forums kind of like this one) that have resources and discussions for moms who work at home. I'll see if I can find a few good sites for you. Hang in there. :)

Hi Christina and welcome to Wrongplanet. I'm a Stay at Home Aspie Mom to a 4 1/2 yr old HFA son, Dylan and an approaching 2 1/2 yr old quirky and advanced NT son, Brendon. My hubby is NT (their father). There is a parent's discussion board on WP that you might want to check out as well. I'm pretty much sheltered from the outside world and all but I don't find it as bad. That's just me.
