So I had recently been wondering how many peers:

1. Call us close friends
2. Say they love us like a family member etc.

Yet they really don't like us but go along with it anyway to make us happy

How many people are really like this?

There are some who fit the description. They are not worth your time. They have lots to work on as far as personal development is concerned.

I, myself, would not hang out with somebody out of a desire to please.

Don't treat as priority those that treat you an option.

the latter is basically 99.99% of the people I know. I stopped being 'nice' to people a long time ago after years of getting burned and used as a convenience.

I have had people that say things to me that they don't mean such as "You are a best friend," "You are like a sister to me," etc that they don't mean. One way that I can tell is by their actions.

What are some other areas?
