Living in a totally self sufficient flat
I have a room at uni which has its own kitchen and bathroom in addition to the usual bedroom space. The other rooms only have bedroom space however. This means that I havent actually used or seen the communal areas at all. Ive just realised that this could present a problem because it'll be assumed that im antisocial or a "weirdo" who never eats or showers XD Its been a week and I havent spoken to anyone in my block. I was thinking of maybe knocking on a few doors to just say hey and explain the situation. I dont have any pretext for going into the kitchen really... What would you recommend

Congrats on getting a room with your own kitchen
How about just bake up a plateful of simple cookies and leave them out in the communal kitchen with a note saying "From Room ______ - Enjoy!"? Or if you're not a baker, a couple boxes of donuts from the nearest donut shop?

There's no need for you to explain yourself. You are, after all, paying more for that room than they are for theirs.
If you worry about that then you can perhaps set aside a day of the week at random..every other week... to just pop in during bfast or dinner into the communal living area and share something you've cooked. Something cheap like scrambled eggs (a carton of eggs IS cheap) or some french onion soup (also ridiculously cheap to make). It gives you visibility and good will/karmic points among them.
Just dont let them take advantage of you by having you do favors or borrowing your own room's facilities.
Well... im not actually paying extra. In each hall there tends to be a disabled room or an RA room that ends up unoccupied by the intended tenants. This means it gets randomly allocated and the lucky student pays the same as everyone else!! The disability services at my uni snapped it up before it could be allotted and so I got it. Im not sure why I was awarded the room over the other aspies with social anxiety and obsessive issues though. I guess it was a matter of degree.
I like the donut idea but they'll probably think im trying to poison them is the door to door approach not a good one?

I'm not you and everyone is different, but, I wouldn't worry about this or feel a need to do anything about it. I don't think the others will even really be thinking much about this, since everyone is probably already aware that there are some rooms that need the occupant to share communal facilities, and other rooms that are self-contained. I'm sure they don't think that if they never see in you in the communal bathroom you must never be washing yourself. I could be wrong about how much the others know about the facilities, but this is my impression from what you've posted -- I just guess that surely they are aware of the system whereby a self contained room gets allocated to someone.
Based on that assumption, I don't think you need to do or say anything. Just enjoy the extra privacy that you probably really could use and enjoy, more than they would if they were the ones chosen. You need it and should enjoy it without feeling like you have to explain it to the ones who have to share. That's my take on it although I don't know the situation and could be wrong.
