Ok so, I have a question. I know that this is strange given the fact that I am so open about things on here. I have Aspergers and I don't really make friends because I get awkward. That being said, there is this kid in my German 2 class who I would like to talk to since he sits next to me but I have two problems
A. How do I talk to him without being Akward.
B. Since I am not a people person, how do I even start. I basically ruin everything.
I attempted to have a conversation with him to day and lets just say everything got awkward. WHAT THE HELL DO I DO!! !
[I'm pretty much blind leading the blind here.] Initially I suggest talking about practical stuff relevant to the situation such as what was in the lesson etc.. That, and basic info such as where he is from, what he studies etc. During that you should try to see if he seems a nice guy and if he is interested in talking to you. What to do next depends mainly on wat you'd like to come out of talking to him in the first place.
As for being awkward, it would help to know what you know by awkward. Without that, I can only say try not to do the same as when it became awkward; depending on what happened, it may also be advisable to rectify/explain that situation when you talk to him again.
(Note: if your user name is your real name, I suggest that you consider if it can cause trouble that anyone can see everything you post by searching your name on the internet.)
