Anyone else here have pen-pals from other parts of the world? I've had some mixed results but have met some awesome people online. I've always had so much trouble with socializing with people in person, but writing to people via text allows me to be able to talk about subjects that I really know and love without any kind of awkwardness that you typically get with in-person conversation. Plus, most of the people in my school are kinda mindless and usually talk about their personal status.

not from across the world so much but i have a pen pal but even there only the one had really stayed in contact. Most people just don't click with me i guess
