Why do people suddenly stop talking to you for no apparent reason? I have a friend who I used to speak to quite regularly online, but for the past month, he has seemingly been online less, yet still comes on and he has ignored messages I left for him.

At first I thought he was going through a period of social withdrawal, as he is (suspected) aspie but now I'm not so sure.

Thoughts?

To keep people interested, one must first be interesting.

Maybe she found something more interesting to her than you.

Well, the conversation always flowed easily between us, we used to chat about anything and everything, so I'm sure I wasn't not interesting

Aw, man, this happens a lot in online relationships! Maybe your friend is just paranoid, or worried about online predators.

A lot of the time, I think people get tired out talking online, 'cause they can't see a person's face. It can be confusing and hard and sometimes it must seem like it's not worth the work. Some of my friends who don't like writing so much almost never reply to my emails.

Maybe try talking to him, ask him what's up? Maybe he just forgot his password. There are infinite possibilities! Yeah, if you really care about him it would be best to just talk to him, I think. Then no one's feelings will get hurt or anything.

I can see he still comes online, so he's not forgot his password or such. I have left him a couple of messages asking him how he is and reminding him to keep in touch, but he hasn't replied.

P.S. Welcome to W.P :)
