Texting another friend for me (Update on Superbowl)
Hi:
As most of you had seen I had found out through the grapevine on Weds evening this week that one of my friends decided to invite everyone to get together at a restaurant to watch the super bowl. I was going to go until I found out that he had created a fb invite which I did not get since we are not fb friends. Meanwhile he did not call or text me about the event since we have each other's numbers. So I felt left in the dark.
I shot him a text message to see if I was invited or not and I never got a response from him which I thought was very strange. I decided if he couldn't get back to me that he might not want me there so I questioned even going. I also ended up finding out about another party that I am going to on Sunday which sounds even better.
When I first got ignored I texted another friend to let him know that I never got word about this party. He said that he thought the party host wouldn't mind me being there. As I found the other party I texted the second friend and told him that I wasn't going to go after all since I found the other event. Then I said that if the host couldn't have the courtesy to contact me in the first place that I shouldn't go.
My other friend contacted me later stating that the host told them for that I could go and that he would only contact me if I was going to the party. Yet I never heard from him. I think this is very strange since I thought he was my friend.
