[b] I've never had one but would it be normal to have sex with someone you didn't hang out with too much and have sex with them( as long as you both agree too and not to get attached still maintaining the agreable relationship) or found some stranger, had sex and never saw them again just for the heck of it. Is it normal do have sex with no emotional attachments and still be satisfied with your own life

Plenty of NTs do this every weekend.

I wouldn't, because I don't quite know how to separate sex and emotional attachment, but still.

I don't think so. Sex for the sake of sex is pointless to me. I see it to be an emotional as well as physical shared experience with someone you care about. I have also heard that the hormones released during sex make you feel attached to the person. So I dk if it's even possible to have casual sex without feeling some sort of attachment.

I agree with jnet mainly. Sex without an emotional connection is no fun for me. Sure, it will feel great, but theres nothing else there for me. The best sex involves someone you really care about.

[b]I think most Aspies lack the shallow personality that goes with being sexually incontinent.

I've had it happen....well....technically twice. Once, I thought it was going somewhere, but then the other party's actions proved otherwise. The other time...yeah... I was still drunk when I woke up. Too drunk to think "I need to leave now..." so instead I just sat on her couch watching TV until I was sober enough to realize that it was.... time to get the hell out of there.

Not something I'm going for, but it does happen. Well, can happen. I try to avoid it. The first one I mentioned, on a different occasion she showed up at my place on her birthday, smashed, and was hanging all over me. I wasn't even buzzed, so I acted more as a physical support to keep her standing than anything else. It was made clear the next night that she was just drunk and horny, that was a nice blow to my ego.

erm...yeah... I haven't touched vanilla flavored vodka since. Apparently I was the sacrificial lamb that night, another guy was going down the same road (involving the same person). The other guys there cut him off, and then pointed me to the liquor because I had killed my 12 pack of beer.

I just got really violent once I came down from it and we were out. I'd take some, feel good, have it wear off a bit, take some more. Once it was gone, had a bit of a meltdown, thoughts and a lack of absinthe. Put a couple holes in my wall. I'm not sure if I'd drink it again. If I do, I'll have to be in full control of the setting, and in better control of my thoughts. Well, at the least in a better state of mind than I was.
