I'm at the age where a lot of my friends are beginning to pair off and get married. I am not - I'm questionably asexual and have yet to feel comfortable enough to start a relationship. But I worry sometimes that with everyone else getting married, am I going to lose all of my friends? I get along OK with other women, but many of my closer friends are guys. I've already lost one friend to a marriage (One who all of a sudden after getting married told me explicitly that she had become too busy and tired to even say hi to me when I said hi to her in passing - and she was one of my closer friends in college. ), and I can only imagine that once my guy friends start getting married, I won't be allowed to goof around with them anymore, even though I'm a studiously hands-off kind of person. All of the friends my mom has are married women, and all the friends my dad has are guys. This is really depressing, so I thought I'd write quickly and see if anyone else has dealt with similar stuff.
