Anyone want to voice chat on Skype?

I just don't have anyone to talk to (IRL or otherwise) right now... natural consequence of living alone...

I just use Skype for the chat via typing. I don't even have a microphone hooked up to the computer.

I used to initially, but my main use of Skype is to converse with my sister. Typing is so much better because one of us can type something into the chat that the other might not read for a few days.

wouldn't mind to some fellow humans myself. give me your skype handle and i'll friend you. won't say mine cuz, well, for some reason it's my real name. . .

I wouldn't say that. maybe people just don't get around to it often. why not message me again ?

I use tox, a skype like alternative that's peer to peer and encrypted, makes it much harder for people to snoop or get logs of chats etc. Especially after it was revealed how easily Microsoft gives Skype details away or it's broken into.
