When a friend comes over and theres nothing to do together (e.g. he's playing crappy games and I'm on my laptop) I get super stressed because I think they're bored and then I tell them to go away because I want to do something else without them.

Well, it's been a long time since I was 14, but are there any hobbies you can do together like going to a trampoline park, or dry ski slope, ice skating, a museum or something like that. Maybe something out of the house.

You're worrying too much. If they're playing video games, they're not bored. Sounds like you're bored. I'd just be like -- fellas, let's go do something else cuz I'm bored as all hell! Or something like that. *shrugs*

I do that myself.

Go to a friends house and they might do something else while I also do my own thing.

Just because you're hanging out with a friend doesn't mean you have to be 200% social with them and always hanging out with them.

You can do your own thing a little, as long as you are not rejecting your friend.

If your friend wanted to do something together and all you did was sit on the computer and ignore them and not even give them any attention they might as well leave.

But if you are all taking turns at playing games and when it is not your turn you are playing stuff on your computer this is alright...

You hang out with a friend to hang out with a friend, but not to be on their neck all the time...

If YOU get bored, find something else to do, suggest a group activity you'd all enjoy...
