Having Trouble Overcoming These Barriers
So I've been going to university since the start of this year, and I still haven't really made any friends. To be fair, I haven't done as much reaching out as I could, but that's because I'm not very confident with myself. A lot of which has to do with my looks, or my mental perception of my looks, as I have a few features I'm extremely insecure about, but I think more of it has to do with my awkward movements and mannerisms.
I'm not really sure how to describe it, but I'm not very graceful. I guess my body movements seem stilted and my facial movements seem somewhat abnormal. I know this to be true even when I feel confident, so I'm not sure how to overcome it.
I feel as though I have a reasonably good understanding of social interaction mentally, but my physical execution is awkward and leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions I can implement?
