So I was having conversation about this artist/local musician we both know. Hasn't talked to me in awhile. I'm afraid what I said was offputting Disclaimer the person we both were talking about is indeed black :
Friend:

Too trendy and hip, i can't look at these people."

My Joke:
That the one, ordering his Tom Waits brand whisky
Tom Waits approved Whiskey like a boss..

Friend:
