I'm 16, and I only have 3 classmates in my alternative school, all of whom are really screwy..... I'm going to get a job soon, but even then, I just don't get along with boys my own age..... for instance, at my Turkish cultural center, I've tried talking to boys my own age, but nothing happens.... And some hate me, or think I'm weird... girls my age hate my guts, and I get along with children better than teenagers, but I've been told it is creepy to hang out with children.... what should I do?

Have you had a look to see what clubs are in your area based on interests you have. Maybe if you join a group who are interested in the same thing you are then it might be easier to find things to talk about and build a friendship from there.

^agreed. There is this cool website I use to find groups in my areas called www.meetup.com. It's a worldwide site. They have some groups for certain age groups as well as common interests.

In my Aspergers social group, only two of my friends are 16-19 years old, which is within my age group. Everyone else is between 21-26 years old, which can be awkward knowing that I am a teenager who finds a lot of common interests with grown ass men lol.

There should be plenty of groups around: bands, library groups, chess clubs, sports teams... all of these have members of all ages
Choose and activity you enjoy and join a club/group related to that: you'll have a lot of people around your age around you that share at least one interest (that specific activity), which creates an instant bond.
