It's 45 degrees outside the window at my desk and I'm about to get on my bike & grab some coffee to wake up and get ready for my interview in 2 hours. Really want this SQA job - the firm's really cool and they're all over the world. Any tips for how to shut myself up & pace myself on the phone?

Heh no pressure right?

Personally, I would not drink coffee if I did not want to speak fast because caffeine overstimulates me. I do not know otherwise but I will wish you the best for your interview.

I've considered this tip before but I discovered that coffee beats the alternatives - if this were a recruitment mtng. everybody would have a free microbrew in their hands, while that's not an issue for me personally I find it sure doesn't help anybody listen. I know I'll at least be talking to this team lead once more & that I was the 1st candidate, so I guess my primary concern now is demonstrating some class next time I message their recruiter. I don't want to act too post-modern, this has the appearance of startup territory but I know they're looking for VETERAN script skills...

I think the internet is probably antithetical to the very concept of time zoning...
