I didn't say it was a serious drug, I said it affects their state of mind, which it does...that's the definition of a drug. It might make people more "laid back" but I've hung out with stoners in 3 different countries and it changes everyone in the same way it seems. Plus, now that I think of it, I'm not sure I wouldn't call weed "serious", since really every stoner I've been with has had their life almost revolve around weed...making weed jokes and references, incorporating weed into normal stuff like hanging out and listening to music, talking about the next time they're all going to get together and get high. I get so tired of it so quickly...being a stoner is like being in some sort of mindless club, and you can only be a member if your mind has been altered in the same way.

It's not that I'm imposing my morals on other people, but I find it VERY difficult to relate to people who drink or do drugs. It REALLY freaks me out to be around people who are drunk/high because they aren't in a reasonable state of mind and it is difficult to communicate properly with them. Also, I really don't like that people drink and do drugs as a way to have fun (which is ironic since a lot of people I've met have assumed I'm into pot, which is strange since I'm not laid back at all.)
weed isnt serious at all
but i do agree with you about people who drink because they really are unreasonable
well at least you have a reason instead of just blindly hating it like some people do
i really wouldnt call it a "serious" drug though
ive been around alcoholics and true drug addicts people you couldnt leave alone in your house otherwise youd have something missing when you came back
but i really cant argue with you because most of what you said is true
its just not for some people
