If you considered something bad then someone else will considered it good. You have the right to your own opinion however shooting down someone else is wrong and not respectful of one's ideas and beliefs. Its a lesson in life that everyone must learned in the end eventually.

If you have objectives then there is right and there is wrong. Shooting down someone if they are wrong is helping them if anything. Frankly I am amazed you have not learned this lesson yet tbh. You forget a little bit we live in NT society, and we have to deal with that reality sadly. Whether or not we like it.

Actually I have a good bit while in college and other areas of my life. Some NT's are more understanding than others because that is human nature for some people. There are NT's who actually like me as friend because not of my disability. Instead, they see me as like everyone else, normal, my character and personalty added into that mutual respect as a living human being. There are journeys in life that take you beyond what many say about you because in the end, you are no different than they are.

Are you 100% sure here; that they are not mocking you here. Maybe my experience at my university is a special case (its full of Tories (conservatives)). All I know is that I know of a few aspies who are being totally bullied behind their backs...

Hey I been mocked and bullied a bit here myself and I just let it go because it shows nothing about what they say is right about me. Also I let go of my past because I have taken the lessons from it to make myself a better and strong person. My drive to believe in myself and my willingness to never give up on a challenge that I am confronted with are strong traits in my character and personalty. (My Senior Naval Scienec Instructor told me that because I have the ability to do anything when I put my mind on the goal [NJROTC Cadet here] and he was a NT) That statement there proves that I believe there are no limits when you focus all your strength and mind on giving it your all. I did came out as Ensign from the program but there was a great achievement left behind by me. That achievement was being a great Academic Team Commander with no only achieving to win a trophy but my belief in my leadership and in the idea of teamwork. Hence they named a trophy after me because this achievement. In life, there are bumps and roadblocks on your path but you can surpassed those obstacles because you believe in yourself and so do others as well.

Right and wrong only exist when there are objectives of some kind, which here you seem not to have. Well defined ones anyway. Believing in yourself works until the bubble is burst, which trust me, will almost certainly happen some day.

So now the army are abusing the fact that you are an Aspie to recruit you. You really need to talk to someone impartial irl, ASAP.

^Hey I have do rights and wrongs like everyone else. My bubble has burst a bit there and here but it doesn't mean I have lost hope within myself or my abilities. Also my Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps instructors knew about my Asperger's and ADHD but it was never used as abuse to me because they respected my efforts to the unit and in the classroom. They even recognized my abilities to in command of a team while giving my all to the unit and I received the Distinguished NS-3 Cadet Ribbon for that honor, courage and commitment to the unit. I hold pride in myself for achieving things that many people that have doubted my abilities in life even including get into a four year college which I'm proud of myself to be a part of the Mason Community here. Determination is one of my greatest assets because I am very willing to prove that I can do anything like everyone else.

I think most people have a hard time making friends including individuals on the Autism Spectrum. However, my idea is proving that we can overcome barriers in life as well as breaking down walls about the stereotypes about the Autism Spectrum. We all have the same capabilities like everyone else in the world in the end.

I believe that we all should think in a positive mind set when making friends because being positive helps us improve and develop our social skills. By improving and developing our social skills, we can all make friends in the end since the friendships are an important aspect to have throughout life in the end.

Are friends a good thing when they take far more effort and time to cultivate than they return? Seems like a losing proposition.

Depends from each person. For me it is not a losing proposition because I can make friends with a good amount of time and effort into developing those friendships. Time and patience is a key element in making friends.

An important note to keep in mind when making friends is sharing the conversation instead of one person always talking. Always silence is golden sometimes as well. Taking turns while having a conversation and not interrupting the other person are very important rules of a conversation and making friends.
