How to make friends be be likeable

How do you become not annoying and likeable? Like tell good stories, be fun to be around? Be confident? Have good conversations about anything including stuff you don't care about?

Hmmm. Not being annoying is easy enough. I find if I just don't say anything at all and hide away from people nobody gets annoyed. So that's half of the problem solved. Becoming likable? Eh, I can't think of any ideas for that one.

You can only be you.

If people don't like you for you, then you'll never convince them, and they're not worth bothering with.
