When my parents leave the house, I try to remember to say goodbye to them. But sometimes, something holds them up and they leave a few minutes later. Should I tell them goodbye again?

I also want to ask a similar question about wishing my parents a good night; do I need to repeat myself when I see them a few minutes later?

Hey LonelyJar.

It's up to you on whether you want to say goodbye a second time. I don't think there is a social expectation to repeat yourself, though looking back on it, I have a habit of saying bye whenever I leave even if I come back in to get something.
