Once I walked into my local bar and I bumped into an associate of mine (I walk a bit weird) and as I approached him his other 2 friends (who I never met before) starred at me almost like they seemed shocked. After that one of his friends bullied me slightly.

I am 26 and these guys I met up with were a lot younger than me like 18 or 19 I think.

Why do you think me walking weird (or just seeming weird) made him act in a rude way towards me?

I heard a story about a guy who got bullied all the time when he went into bars because he was big.

So one of his friends, who had military training, as well as actual experience killing lots of somebodies in the war, taught him how to throw a punch.

He nearly killed a guy throwing a punch. He stopped going to bars after that.

I was in a bar with a friend who was quite short
When I went to the bathroom he said some people were bullying him.

I don't get bullied in bars and I am tall (although very skinny)

Could me being 5ft7 make me more vulnerable to bullying? I am on the skinnier side too at 145-150 pounads

Maybe I am underestimating how common height prejudice is?

Well tall guys can get bullied too by jealous short guys as well. I think average height is more ideal than tall or short

How well do you get on with your associate? Just wondering if he might have said to his friends something like; "Oh look, here's comes that weird guy I've been telling you about."

I think it may have happened to me once but I was quite wasted, so my memory could be distorted

We get along quite well. I don't see him anymore but I do remember he was polite to my face.
