We've talked about all the things about our families that drive us nuts. Now that it's almost Christmas, lets talk about the things that we like about them.

I'm proud of my Dad for working two jobs. He works his Afternoon/Evening shift as a Custodian at an Elementary School. He also has his own Buisness, doing Indoor/Outdoor Painting, Pressure Washing, Windows and other Home Maintinence. He also gave me my sweet little Chico as a Gift, who's lying beside me on the Loveseat in the TV Room. That softened me up.

My Mom has worked at the Cloverdale McDonald's for twenty years. She Assistant Breakfast Manager, so she gets up at 3 every morning, in order to make it to work by 4:30. She deals with all types of customers for 6 Hours.

My Kid Sister has a great sense of humour (when she's not being sacrastic). She's very slim and beautiful. She also knows exactly what gifts to give me.

What I like most about my family is that I only have to see them twice a year.....

I rarely see mine too, which works out OK. I just want a life of my own to live as I see fit, and they don't like that idea very much.

Same here. I find it's best to just keep them out. Just trying to figure myself out now.....getting a very late start.

I like the fact that my family were always in favor of education and encouraged me to pursue whatever career would make me happy.

I also like the fact that my Parents were able to deal with me for this long, without kicking me out. That way, I was able to put whatever money I did have left over on Cheque Day into my Savings.

What I like most about my family is that they are hundreds of miles away.

It sounds like some people hear have had pretty bad family lives, I'm sorry to hear that :(
I should consider myself pretty lucky then.

I like how they never minded that I was different-in fact, they encouraged it :) They encouraged my brother and sister to be their own people too, and they are both very unique, and very funny, and very nice people-actually, everyone in my family is pretty nice. My dad is the ultimate good guy, he's nice to everyone and tries to do the right thing and taught us to do the same. My mom has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun and is very resourceful and creative and passed that on to us. Everyone in my family is really laid-back and down to earth and we usually have a good time together. And I adore our black-lab German Shepard mix! :D We're also all very close. I decided to have an hour commute to university every day rather than move away from them, although I've had to do that recently. I'll be going home for Christmas though :)
