Hi,
Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I wanted to know where I can meet and make friends with like minded people who have autism and even neurotypicals? As I really want to make a start on this now.

If you have any tips, please tell me,thanks :)

I've found that by participating in conversations that interest me I've got talking to other people who have similar interests and I'd consider them friends now.

It takes time and you have to actively participate so that people can get to know you.

I'm sure you can meet people on Wrong Planet who share your interests.

Just make replies to threads which you find interesting. If something really inspires you, PM that person, making sure, if it's a woman, that you inform her that you have no ulterior motive in PMing her.

I'm not sure that's necessary. Any of the guys on here who have emailed me haven't said "I just want to be friends" it's just understood through the context.

Just don't pm someone constantly. Give them a chance to respond.
