I'm in seventh grade (well, it's the last day of school now, so soon to be eighth grade) and there are some girls at my school who ignored me for the first half of the school year (most of them anyway-a few mocked me and called me ret*d) but when the second semester rolled around, they all started acting very nice. When I say "nice", I mean that they were being quite sweet, but treating me the way you would treat a young child. I can't tell if they genuinely think I'm intellectually challenged and are trying to be politically correct, or if they're patronizing me. If you have an idea as to what they're doing, please tell me about it-I really want to know. Thank you very much!

Did you explain to then that have Asperger's or did you get them into trouble? Either way I would be polite in return without getting to close until you feel that you have trust.
