It does. I can't find the right people, don't got a girl by my side, not even a kick a$$ job.

How do I start getting what I need in life.

I pray to God like crazy, but it seems like no miricles are happening for me.

It's like the world hates me.

This is the part about having Asperger's that totally sucks!

Eric:

The world doesn't hate you. Making friends is tough and keeping them is tougher. (I'm not even talking about girls and relationships. That's REALLY TOUGH!) There are a lot of unwritten rules around it. Its difficult for even NTs. If you can make and keep one or two friends, your doing OK.

As far as, how you get want you need in life? Dude, you are not alone. Very few people have what they want or need. But start with "what do I need?"

Good luck.

Stop praying, start acting. Do something. If you give up on that, then no, things won't improve. If you try, you may fail, but you also may succeed. If you don't try, well, you won't fail, but you won't succeed either. You won't really change...anything.

My social life doesn't suck because I don't have one.

It doesn't because I don't have anyone else to bring me down. :D

Yeah, what shadexiii said.
Praying to God won't bring you a social life.

If you can get past needing a social life, or feeling like you SHOULD have one, it might help.

I don't think many people with Aspergers have good social lives, after all, I don't think I would've thought about getting diagnosed if no-one asked me why I 'never' talked to anyone.

No, out of nowhere it wont. But i dont necessarily believe that praying to god about this is a bad or ineffective thing. But In addition to praying, you have to get out there and show that you're willing to take some risks and try to be social. Look at it as sort of like "meeting god halfway".

I go out once a week, if that - I was invited along to a role-playing evening last year, and now I go every week (unless I have no money, that is). It's hard, because I am constantly feeling the need to retreat back into my shell and leave everything around me to its own devices, but I'm going to be sticking with it for as long as I can - I think it's the right thing to do.

Well i dont believe in god, so am not going to pray for anything.
But i respect others' belief systems, and of course you are correct. No point in moaning about having no social life when you spend most of your free time on the computer.

Personally having little social life does not worry me.
So long as i get out and do things i enjoy, that is all that matters.
