Yep, soon I'm out of school to go on summer vacation.
It's going to be great to just relax and not have to deal with school of course...

But the thing is that school is pretty much my only source to being social. The only way I will be able to connect to people this summer will be on the internet and also my penpals. But that's about it.
I like being alone, but NOT for two months...

We will mix classes for next year as well which makes me even more anxious.
So I have two questions for all you WP members;
- How do you ask your friend if she wants to do something over the summer?
- How can you find people to hang out with as a teenager?

yoo, your avatar is from the mario bros super show, isn't it? i have a couple of DVDs of them, brooklyn and wild west i think they are.

toad's cap colors are inverted.

anyway, i always have had that problem, summers a thing to dread, especially now that it's a month longer since i end in may now, not june.

there really was only one summer i spent real time with another person, and that was in 2012 with my soon to be limerent object. that was among the best times of my life. later summers never were able to catch up to the amount if interaction i had then, even after i got a proper girlfriend. i never saw her last summer. not once, i offered for her to come over but she was always busy with...something. i didn't know, and then i was too afraid to ask for fear of irritating her. i think this summer i will see her more often.

if you're behind in classes, summer school can help, both with your education and meeting new people in that two month drought (or talking more with those you may already know).

probably an obvious suggestion, but volunteering also could be an opportunity. i helped make floats for our summer solstice parade in 2013 and 2015 and it was a chance to meet lost of super creative, talented people. i never got too close to any of them though, some moved to college, but maybe you can go better.

but i suppose the downside to those is that is feels "forced" and "artificial", but it is just me.

the way i ask people to hang out with me is nothing special, just the statement that i'm going out to do something and asking if they wanna come with me.

i heard something about telling them that they are coming with you to a place...as a method of being more assertive, but that hasn't worked for me too well.
