Hi:
I was wondering if you have come across any others with AS who bullies others with mild autism and Asperger's.

I've come across one, but I think I set him straight.

I happen to know a group of Aspie's who are into self-advocacy and being leaders in the autism community who seemed to have started a clique of people with mild autism and Asperger's. They talk about inclusion and acceptance but they have excluded several people with AS who didn't fit into their perfect little group. In fact they bad mouth them behind their backs. Also if anyone from their group have as much as a meltdown then they are out. They even call their friends outside the clique and tell them to exclude these people by telling them not to invite them to their gatherings.

I once knew an Aspie who was very rude to other people with autism. He would always make judgmental comments.

I don't think I've met a bully with autism. At college there was a bully who had ADHD, but she just acted like a 10-year-old, so I never got too sensitive about it. She just needed to grow up a bit. Also I've come across quite a few bullies who had learning difficulties.

I did know some on the spectrum via DeviantART along Twitter wrestling roleplay. He was using the AS on his personal Twitter for attention but several months later I got at it with him via DM and blocked me after I told him stuff plus a AS article about not being a jerk. But it escalated quickly. I hate talking about it.

Didn't feel better either but it had to be done or my sanity would've tanked my downward spiral 5 times quicker.

I've been that person, sort of (no diagnosis--may not have AS). I contributed to a person with Asperger's leaving a gaming community I'm a part of due to some pretty mean and uncalled for behavior. I'm quite ashamed of it and think I've bettered myself since then. That person and I are cool now though. We're friends on Steam and can have pleasant conversations.

I've ran into bullies before, but I'm not sure if they were Aspies or had autism. My guess is that they may have other mental illnesses or just plain old NT problems that they struggle with.
