I don't know why, but the same F****** complaints always come up in the same F****** social situations. Bottom line, I appear to have trouble in social situations with saying inappropriate things, prattling on about things, and just starting a conversation about something random I don't know if I just don't talk to anyone enough or if I have aspergers, I seriously don't know. I'm so tired of feeling like I don't fit in. And can you believe this is for some frat I couldn't get into? But it's just that it reminds me of how much I don't work in this world and how I'm not good enough for anything and how alone and angry and afraid I feel about everything. Any help on this?

Something tells me the latter might very well be the case.

Either way, I'd say the best you can do is practice. Force yourself to talk to people - see what works and what doesn't. Keep an eye on their reactions. Develop and improve your conversational skills. As unpleasant as I know the idea may sound, it'll pay off sooner or later.

1. If you want to work on social skills, I would recommend checking out
a. Daniel Wendler's "Improve your social skills.com
b. My blog "Hello World with Miyah."
c. Asperger Experts
d. Speaking Geek by Jennifer O'toole.

2. While it's good to work on yourself, please don't try to beat yourself up about fitting in. Some people like to find things to complain about because it's what they live for. I was friends with a few people who were often nice to my face but then would rip me apart behind my back or so both of these "Friends" told me.
