All you need to know to make and keep friends
Making a friend is simple and rewarding. And even though you might like being a lone wolf, friends are good to have. They have your back when times are bad, and are fun to hang out with when times are good. This is how you make a friend:
1. Look for a good candidate as your friend( looks nice, has a lot of friends around them)
2. Try to find their name.
3. The night before, practice what you will say to them. Make it natural, with no unnatural pauses or misuse of slang(if your into that), and offer a handshake, and look into their eyes or nose. Practice as long as you need to, and practice with another friend or family member.(TIP: don't give out awkward facts or just give too much out in general, this is why you should consult a family member)
4. The next day, take a deep breath, walk up to them, smile, say hi, say your script you practiced, with a natural expression, like talking to someone you are more comfortable with.
5. Say hi every day to your new friend, let him decide if they want to talk more, then ACTUALLY LISTEN, even if you are bored. You just might learn something new.
6. Do not be rude. No personal questions, and think before you speak. If you need time to think, a true friend will let you. Trust yourself.
