Yea Ive been there when I was younger. I can't ice skate for my life though, I even took ice skating lessons and after every lesson I would be able to just stand on ice and wlk across it, but after a year I would have to start all over. I'm lacking that motor skill.

I've been dragged there twice in school and I think once with my dad when I was a kid. Couldn't do it at all though and ended up just sitting in the food place eating chips.

Not since I was a kid..very annoying..embarrasing...loud..gave me headaches..I got teased..had a soda splashed in my face...The kids who hung out at my local roller rink were mean :(
I kinda liked just therollerskating aspect of it..It was a good way for me to get exercise as i was kind of a sluggish kid..but...just the interpersonal stuff was kinda lame.

I have gone several times for church-related events and the birthday parties of my siblings. My own roller blades I found uncomfortable, so I would usually rent skates. I can skate at least in a basic way (circular), with no tricks.

I used to go to the local skating rink. I was never a good skater. The boys at the rink kept asking me if I could skate faster than my younger sister. I told them that I could, and I was pushing myself to skate really fast. That's when I fell on the ice and broke my right leg. I was in a cast for six weeks. I was nine at the time.

Sure, I've gone skating before, on ice and wheels :) I always really liked the actual skating part, but then people always ruined it by turning it into some kind of game I could never understand. I'd be happily skating around, and then all of a sudden everyone would be doing the same thing at once, or skating in a group or in a big line that I had to get away from or they'd trip on me and get mad, or they'd all be going in the same direction and I was suddenly going the opposite way, and I could never figure out what triggered them or what the hell I was supposed to be doing and why they were all so mad at me for being in their way when I had paid the same fee to get into the place as they had.

I deeply enjoy ice skating. I believe I have a real talent at it.

Funny thing is, the sports I have the most skill in are two I don't do often - horseriding and ice/figure skating. I go horseriding roughly five times a year and ice skating around...once every two years.
