This is a really useful and even insightful article about making a good first impression. Everybody should heed the article's advice, but it would be especially useful for those of us with Asperger's/Autism Spectrum Disorder. Now you may need a LinkedIn account to read the article, but it would be worth it just to read the article.

I think this only works for NTs. NDs won't build trust that way. Sure, it might be useful to build trust with NTs, but only under special circumstances.

Well it works for me in building trust with people. I can get a more than adequate first impression of a person if I spend 2,3,4 hours with the person. I get a deep sense of how the person really is even if their behavior seems to radically change later.
