Okay. I'm going to bring this up. This may be offensive to some people, but it'll help someone. Fact: I was born on 1994. Thought: My friend who hasn't talked to me on the phone for hours must not like me. Fact: I have a mother and father. Thought: I must have the worst parents in the world.

You have to seperate fact from thought. When we are alone and bored we start thinking thoughts are reality because we have been around our thoughts more. When we are out with people and start seeing stuff happening and we are actually engaged with them then we see facts as reality. More people experience what factually is going on in reality than what we think is going on in reality.

So to have a better connection with people remember to seperate facts from thoughts. Seperating facts from thoughts makes you a more realistic person.

Theories of how your life can be in the future is a thought, and not a fact.

Yep. People have to go out in the world more, rather than sit at home thinking of abstract theories all the time.

I used to be in that trap---and it got me nowhere. It caused me to think highly of things which, upon experience, proved to be utterly ridiculous.
