I went on the bus today with a friend to go places. It was fun. My friend also has autism but he is considered more high functioning which means my parents trust him more. He puts my ticket in for me because I have issues with doing it fast enough. I felt happy today and less stressed than usual. I was out for at least 4 hours. I felt more independent today. I talked more than usual too. I started talking too loud on the bus though. Sometimes I struggle with my tone. People looked at me but my friend told me it was ok.

We went to thrift stores. I like doing that. I honestly just felt so happy today. I even still feel happy. I want to flap my hands just thinking about the day. I did that a lot throughout the trip. I also made sounds, I do that when I am happy sometimes. Days like this just remind me that I can feel happy. I have been feeling really depressed lately.

Awesome! Try to go out and do stuff with him or any other friends you have more often. And try make more friends if you can because all that should help you feel happy more often. Its nice to see multiple good news threads on this board today. I hope you continue to feel better. :)
