Don’t get me wrong, I’m absolutely terrible at friendships. I’m not “out” to anyone at school about my diagnosis, and no one understands. I tend to hide myself and extrovert myself. I’m so loud and pushy with people I hardly know, it hurts. Only one person at school knows my gentle side; my true-self, but again, not out.
I’m wondering if anyone else would like to give a classic friendship a try. We could help eachother with situations through text, and comfort eachother to the best of our abilities. I just don’t know another person with autism and I think it would be nice to.
(Maybe a teen, so we can share school experiences?)
Thank you.

Hi!

I am terrible at making friends too, and I sometimes feel so alone in this world, since socializing is so difficult, uncomfortable, and very tiring. I am a high-school senior (17 years old) who is on the spectrum. I would also like a friend who I can relate to.

Thanks.
