I recorded their conversations and replayed them to the teacher. (Back in the day, we had "Cassette Tapes", and tape recorder-players that would fit inside a backpack.) The next day, they were "invited" to sit as far from each other as possible, but toward the front.
what did they say/do to you after that?
The usual beatings ... which caused them even more trouble with the school and the police. Two dropped out of high school to work at GM, and the third died fighting with the Contras in Nicaragua.
I think that you are probably being funny about a subject that should not be so funny.
I used to be bullied in high school for being very shy and not prone to interact/act/react to other people. It was something that left a mark on me to this day and every time I try to do something which involves other people I am still afraid of the consequences due to the common person being a monkey with no brain.
I still hope to this day to find a group of people who are clever enough to respect each others without having to put prejudices and social skills into the relationships.
I am so sad that in a university, which is supposed to be the building which grants the highest education possible to a human being, people are still so rude and lack respect.
