Yesterday I was part of a lesson at my university and the other people could not stop speaking with each others during the whole lesson. The teacher didn't really care, she kept speaking loud above them but at times they were whispering and confusing me so much that I had to leave 1 hour and a half before the lesson finished.

I honestly don't know what do, does this happen to someone else to skip classes because they are too noisy to sustain??

I considered speaking with them about it, but they are much younger than me and I think I probably would end up being mocked for the rest of the year.......

Maybe it is just my issue, but when I'm taking part in a lesson and I hear some other noises apart from the teacher explanation I can't focus on the subject anymore and my head starts to become heavy....

happened to someone else????

I recorded their conversations and replayed them to the teacher.

(Back in the day, we had "Cassette Tapes", and tape recorder-players that would fit inside a backpack.)

The next day, they were "invited" to sit as far from each other as possible, but toward the front.

The usual beatings ... which caused them even more trouble with the school and the police. Two dropped out of high school to work at GM, and the third died fighting with the Contras in Nicaragua.

I can't understand which part is real and which is not.

I think that you are probably being funny about a subject that should not be so funny.
I used to be bullied in high school for being very shy and not prone to interact/act/react to other people. It was something that left a mark on me to this day and every time I try to do something which involves other people I am still afraid of the consequences due to the common person being a monkey with no brain.
I still hope to this day to find a group of people who are clever enough to respect each others without having to put prejudices and social skills into the relationships.

I am so sad that in a university, which is supposed to be the building which grants the highest education possible to a human being, people are still so rude and lack respect.

Not funny, just flippant. I don't live in the past, so I don't take it as seriously as other people do. Once you let go of the past, you stop being a victim and become a survivor.

exactly what I did yesterday, alone in the front row.

It didn't work though, people were so noisy in the background whispering whatever they wanted to say.

Isn't it for the noisy ones that gob stoppers were invented?

Perhaps you could talk to the teacher/professor privately about your problems hearing & concentrating when it's noisy. She could ask/tell the class to be quieter.

This used to happen to me all the time in grade school. I'd get this overwhelming feeling that I want to GTFO, and often times it wasn't an option for me.

I used to really struggle with this one though. My fingers would be in my ears and I would have my elbows on my desk... The only times I remember where I would be slightly rocking back and fore. I usually switched off into a dream world to cope so the very few noisy classes we had I wasn't in! Back in those days noisy classes were reelitively rare when a teacher was present. We had the threat of a slipper or cane (Cane to the hand in secondary school. Slipper on the rear in primary school), but I did hate when teachers had to shout to get the class to be quite. Some teachers didn't eed to and I did surprizingly well in those lessons. We had a geography teacher who had lost some of his fingers, and those who talked without permission would get the stumps of his fingers poked in our ribs. The thought of it kept us behaved. I loved geography! I did well in that subject. A real good subject I wanted to take was history, but as it meant studying people like kings and queens where I preferred the historic events side and what was there (E.g. local history etc. Things I could eelate to), when it came in form 3 where we had to choose our subjects for the last two years in school, I wasn't allowed to take both history and geography, so geography won.

sure, this might be the best and most logical idea.
