Hi:
For the last 10 years, I have been associating with a woman who lives with NLD who I met through some adult supports through an autism center. Though we have never grown to be close with this person, we have invited each other get-togethers next to doing things with her family for Thanksgiving. Other than that, we have barely ever called each other and probably did two things one-on-one twice. I also have had a hard time communicating with her because she is not only very quiet and seems to be the type that often says "I don't know." In fact, I have to pull teeth when talking to her. Rather, I had an easier time connecting with her family members who have similar personalities to mine where we are outgoing. However, they don't really care for me.
Has anyone else gone or going through something similar?
