Does this happen to anyone else here? More times than I can count, one of my friends has told me a secret, but not told me that it WAS a secret, and then been shocked when I talk about it in a group of people it wasn't meant for. Fortunately my friends are cool about it and learned quickly, but it's still frustrating for all of us when it does happen.

Yeah, I've had that problem. I've mostly learned to think twice before repeating anything a friend has told me. I'm still not very good about it, but I try not to talk about other people's business- especially if it seems like something I wouldn't want everyone to know.

It's not always secret-sounding stuff though, which is the hard part. If one of my friends told me they were gay or something I'd keep that quiet but it's stuff like "I'm going to go donate blood so I can buy my girlfriend a birthday dinner." No indication that it's a SURPRISE dinner, just that it exists. Then she asks me where he went and I tell her, and then it all goes sour. x.x And that's just one example.
