They reopened my house of worship with guidelines and after; I got invited to join a few attendees, who I barely know which was ok. Though I had a fun time with the eldest daughter, I didn't really feel a connection. Because:

1. Though the mom invited me to join, she didn't say much to me at the restaurant but she found out I had autism and it was "Where are your parents?"
- I politely told her I was not that close with them and that I was not going to bad mouth other people.
2. They did not ask for my number,
3. I offered to invite them out to lunch sometime but they didn't seem that interested
4. When they dropped me off, I didn't think they were bad people but it didn't have that "Yeah that was really fun."

I am proud of myself for trying

It is good. They may not understand you but they don't have to. You know how well you did and that is all that matters.

They don't understand but
1. The oldest daughter is neurodiverse herself - she was the only one I could connect with
2. Her last boyfriend was a spectrumite himself
