Why do people who have your phone number (obviously) and your private what's app with a pre-established conversation in it send what's app messages to one specific person via group chat?

Do they think this is of interest to everyone?

If they do it to me, I feel sorry to the rest of the group for interrupting them.

If they do it to other people, I hate it. It distracts me for something irrelevant to me.

Ideally group messages should be towards the group. If not, for eg if it's a big group, it should at least be towards the majority of the group!

What they have to say is so important it needs to be shared with the group.

Maybe it's like the people who hit "reply all" instead of "reply." Possibly an accident? Or just unfamiliar with the software.

I think it's that latter one cos 1 he stopped when I pointed it out and 2 they weren't interesting messages to other people.

Made me feel bad both when I was the target of them and when I wasn't.

Due to my social anxiety, I hate bothering people.
