Honestly, I was curious to find out if its a good idea to get a job that puts you frequently seeing people face to face and giving them service, like working in a store, or a place where people drop by all the time and you must talk to them every time. For me, it might be a good idea. But I was wondering if thats a valid reason to work at a certain job? The thing I dont fully understand yet, is if it can be done during this pandemic or not.

Also, could there be workplaces where they dont allow you to stay in touch outside of work, with people you have met during work? Like a customer who dropped by.

Whether that's a good idea depends on many factors.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of such a job, in your view? What are your relevant skills and impairments?

Also, how easily would you be overwhelmed by the sensory environment of the workplace, and/or by having your attention rapidly diverted from one person to another again and again?

Making friends at work can be really tricky because there are those who appear like they want to be your friend but they can have an agenda. For example, let's say you have some skills that could be useful for that company that could make you successful in the long-run. These "Friendly" people will always badmouth other co-workers and boss behind your back all the while getting you to engage in gossip so they can use that against you to undermine your reputation. Meanwhile, they get the promotion that you deserved.

Being that we have a harder time making friends, there are those in the workplace who act like they want to be your friend but that's because they think you look "Gullible" so they can either use you or control you.

It's okay to be polite with these people but make sure you find people who are sincere and honest.
