Hi, my name's Christopher and I'm 13, 14 as of Mother's Day. I am interested in these things to various degrees but it depends for each one. The emoticons tell how I feel about them:
Mass transit: I've been on the metros of Washington D.C. many times on three occasions(one for visiting Monticello for research for a National History Day Presentation, one for the University of Maryland and the actual NHD competition, and one for being invited back to the National Archives to perform my NHD performance). I loved the metros. They were so fun, and they were really nice to ride in, and all of a sudden I wanted to know how they worked. Mass transit is great.
School buses: School buses are nice, but CHARTER BUSES ARE EVEN BETTER! They're comfy, they have seat belts, they have a bathroom, the seats recline, they have armrests, and they are so neat!! !! ! I love 'em!! !!
Politics: I love politics! It's really fun to debate! I'm really good at speech/debate! Ha! I despise Bush! He is so dumb he couldn't pronounce "Unique Newyork" if he tried.
Baseball: I like softball better. Baseballs hurt when they hit you in the head. (I have horrible luck when it comes to sports).
NYC: Been there, done that, loved it, loved the empire state building, loved the statue of liberty, LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEEDDDD the Pokémon Center!
171newyork, I don't think you should be too location-specific. I don't think that location should be a boundary for friendship. For example; if you have a Macintosh computer, iChat and an AIM account, then you can literally speak to someone across the world. I live in Joplin, MO and I've had vocal conversations with people far away from here. That's about as close to real-life as you can get, with the exception of a webcam (only I don't have one).
I do, however, invite you to be my friend. I've made quite a few friends here, and you can too if you want to. Well, talk to you later.
Chris
