Tired of Twitter
I've gone off Twitter a bit.
It's not horrible like Discord was.
It's just always a competition between the knee-jerk wokescolds and the borings. With the occasional bigot in the mix stirring up the wokescolds.
People have such dull lives/styles on there and whenever anyone has a more interesting one they make fun of it.
The knee jerk side rarely comes in on my timeline but it's like people spend more time worrying what bigots and boring people think of them than just being different. I know transphobia exists in the world, I know anti-autism exists in the world, I'm fed up of wasting every waking hour thinking about it and I was never much of a fan of correcting every little 'micro aggression'...
Twitter conversations: identity related politics back and forth, moaning about football, very boring bits of life that people feel confident sharing with everyone in the world (eg 'what flavour of crisp is worse' - I don't care! I mean ready salted is the answer but I still don't bloody care!), Westminster politics, Holyrood politics, American politics...
I'm tired of trying to save the world.

I've generally avoided social media altogether, but I'm thinking of getting a Twitter account for the purpose of publicizing meetings of my groups. I'm under the impression that Twitter does not have a "legal names only" policy, unlike Facebook, but I will need to read the terms of service and the rules/guidelines carefully to make sure of this.
I hope that at least some of the "wokescolds" are interested in actually doing things to make their own and other people's lives better (e.g. building community) rather than just scolding people.
Anyhow, as a person who has long avoided today's large-scale social media, it's no surprise to me that you would be tired of Twitter, whose structure is obviously conducive to mob mentality.

I'm pretty much the same political opinions as them.
But they take it too far and all they seem to do is go off on one on social media about microaggressions or what one celebrity or another said that means we have to cancel them or so and so associated with such and such etc.
And the only people found criticising them are the kind of people who think transphobia etc isn't a big deal anyway.

That's funny, just today I was thinking the same thing about Twitter as well. My impression of autistic twitter was much the same. I kind of liked it when I first found it, but the constant bickering makes it exhausting.
