I have to agree with the others, but from experience! I've only been interested in attractive women, that is, women who are attractive for various "looks" and so forth, I've NEVER gone for women that aren't my "type"- it's just a waste of time dude! A complete waste of time. Some of my friends have gotten mad that girls seemed to like me and I ignored them- because they weren't my type, why would I bother? Yeah, if you want confidence it comes from pursuing women you're actually INTERESTED in man. No surprise to me that you don't have much experience.

Yeah, I like having something that
I want to look at around me. And there
is a touch of a boost, when others notice
your S.O. I know that my wife found a
certain pride in having me as a pretty thing.
I did too. Never really the whole trophy issue -
just made me happy somehow. Especially since
I think that we made one another more attractive,
through our love - even to others.

Still, I don't know that I really have a 'type'. The majority
of what I see simply wouldn't please me, but it's not really
trivially clear that there is anything distinguishible.
