Where is a good place to start if I want to cut down?

As many of you know since 2013 I have been going to the pub/bar regurley on the weekends. However it has gotten to the stage in my life when I really want to cut down on going to my local pub. My current routine is usually I go to the pub Friday and Saturday to meet my small group of bar friends.

My question is if I want to cut down where is a good place to start if I want to go out to the pub less?



I am unemployed at the moment but if you want me to be brutally honest my parents very kindly give me cash to go out with on the weekends. Basically because I do not have a job I don't get much of a chance to Socialise during the week.

You could also join a Maker’s Space

use the pub money to learn some skill that interests you. Take lessons, go to a night class, join "toastmasters" or other similar service/civic interest groups, go to a coffee house or a reading room, pool hall, video game place, art galleries, museums, auto clubs, whatever makes you take an interest in life. Volunteer for the local animal shelter, join groups who help others with handicaps or other struggles. Where is your heart , what occupies your mind, what are the most fun things you ever did in your life. Add more of that to your life!
